LC2, designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneretand Charlotte Perriand (protagonists of modern rationalism) is today re-proposed by Cassina in a revamp that enhances new aspects, showing innovative power. Versions that are seductive to the touch and to the eye, soft, with feather filling and coloured structures, more alive and current than ever. Seven colours: gloss basalt, grey, light blue, green, bordeaux and polished ochre or mat black, in combination with the collection fabrics approved by the Le Corbusier Fondation. Eames Lounge Chair - Vitra |

New wood: the Lounge Chair was created in 1956 and it is now a classic in the history of modern furniture. In 2007 was presented a version in white pigmented walnut shell and snow white leather. Developed in cooperation with the Eames Office, Vitra now introduces a new interpretation of the Lounge Chair in black pigmented walnut. So now you can choose amongst these 4 finishes: white pigmented walnut, cherry, black pigmented walnut, and the classic santos palisander. Leather finishes: black, chocolate, brown and snow white.
New size: since the Lounge Chair went into production more than 50 years ago, the average human has – depending on the region – become up to 10 cm taller. In close cooperation with the Eames Office, Vitra has created a slightly larger Lounge Chair so that taller people, too, can enjoy the exceptional comfort of this classic chair design. The new “Larger Version” features a longer seat, adjusted armrests and a higher backrest. |

Available either short or long to cover the legs too, it is protected by Advanced Teflon ®. An innovative treatment that protects the fabric from stains as well as it makes the stains removal easier during the normal machine washing. Zanotta is the first firm to use this treatment in the furniture field. |
