The Saarinen Tulip chair is a classic upon its launch. A complementary chair designed for the Dining table. Shell is in molded fiberglass reinforced plastic and base is cast aluminum with a rilsan finish.

Design: Arne Jacobsen, 1955. This chair represents a fundamental stage of the history of the world design. It was exposed for the first time during the international exhibition H55 in Sweden in the Danish pavilion designed by Arne Jacobsen and it was immediately a business success and gained many appreciations. The body is made of curved plywood with veneering in cherry wood, walnut, maple, ash and cut beech in a many range of colours with matt lacquering. The body is available also with a padded upper side or completely padded and covered with various fabrics. The base is chromium plated or glazed chromium plated. The four legs may be replaced by a rotating base with adjustable height with five wheels or by a pedestal to be fixed to the floor. Armrests are available and also a laminate writing board. The chair is supplied with a standard seat height of 44 cm; upon request also a 46,5 cm seat height is available.

The seat and base are chrome plated (special stacking version available with linking elements). Bright slim line fabric or leather cushions add even more comfort to these chairs.
