Doge Simon Cassina

The Doge table, designed by Carlo Scarpa, became part of the Cassina Simon Collection following the acquisition of the long established company Simon in 2013. Simon launched its own production in 1968 with this exceptional masterpiece, one of the cornerstones of the “Ultrarazionale” movement, whose aim was to go beyond the strict limitations of rationalism by exploring different materials and with quality expressed through precious details to createa powerful figurative whole. As part of C90 Mutazioni, Doge was given new fi nishes and materials: besides the original version in steel, the table frame is now available in polished aluminium, polished gunmetal, polished copper or matt red versions.
The tops come in five sizes in fl oat glass or in two types of marble, Carrara white or Marquiña black.
